Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you he will never leave you nor forsake you.” So how do we navigate tough situations, havoc, or a world turned upside down? By standing firm on God’s word.ĭeuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. The Bible tells us dark situations will always be around until Jesus returns we still live on earth not in heaven. In order to get through these tough times it’s good to remember what God told us about His comfort.Īs a Christian, I believe there’s no comfort in any dark situation unless I turn to God for that comfort. Quite possibly God may just be saying, “Ok, you show no faith in Me nor do you seek Me out, so go ahead and figure things out for yourself.” Or perhaps the havoc is to help us learn a lesson. Especially those situations God allows evil to reek havoc and turn our world upside down.īut perhaps the havoc was created by mankind’s own selfish doing. Yes, I know especially today, we may not understand the “why” in tough situations.
That control reigns over our tough situations as well as our easy ones. When we trust God’s promises He made to us in the Bible, we trust He is always in control.
